February 1-2 Blizzard

This post will be series of thought on the February 1 & 2 blizzard.  The blizzard impacted must of the center of the United States.  The area of impact was from SE Wisconsin, Illinois, Central and Eastern Iowa, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Indiana.  The reports that I am hearing that while the storm had a lot of wind, and snow most of the wireless communication networks stayed up and running well.  I would be interested if others had different viewpoints.
